2023 4th Platoon Reunion

The 4th Platoon held a reunion on October 25 and 26 in San Diego, California. Our day at Miramar started at 0700 on the gun range (their term today). This was followed by a tour of the base and the various fixed and rotor hangers; to include F-18´s, Cobra´s, and 53´s, but no F-35B´s. They wouldn´t let us near the F-35. We got a view of the base and its activities from the top of the control tower where we did see the F-35 do its thing. Amazing! Then we were given access to the flight simulators, “flying” V-22´s, 53´s, and F-18´s; which was crazy cool! We finished the day at the O Club.
